Nerve tissue is among the most energy of all tissue types. This makes sense because our nerve are constantly sending signals about temperature, pressure, movement and position etc.
In order for these signals to be sent efficiently, mitochondria, the powerplants of the cells, must be working properly.
As it were, mitochondria become disrupted due to Guillain Barre Syndrome and fixing them is at the crux of getting better. This healing process can happen on it's own but if we can, why not speed up that process. And if you have not been getting better this might be a reason why.
Here are 5 important things to consider when repairing mitochondria:
Dysfunctional mitochondria produce a great deal of free radicles making repair more difficult. One reason why antioxidants are so important.
It can take several months of diligent work so be patient. Repairing mitochondria can take several months of consistent effort so take a deep breath and know that it's a marathon.
There are many nutrients that help mitochondria function better (click here to learn more)
Diet and meal timing help remove mitochondria that are too far gone, limiting the free radicles they produce.
Certain types of exercise are better than others for fixing mitochondria
Mitochondria also play an important role in everything that goes on in our body. This is why mitochondria are so tightly linked to things like longevity, memory as well as preventing and prolonging degeneration. h
